Service Area
Middle Flint Behavioral Healthcare provides services to individuals and families throughout south Georgia, but its legislatively mandated service area includes the following counties: Crisp, Dooly, Macon, Marion, Schley, Sumter, Taylor, and Webster. Each of these counties is represented on our governing Board by a citizen of that county. We maintain facilities in our most populated counties, but provide outreach to all eight counties, as well as transportation routes for several of our services.

Transportation
If you are unable to provide your own transportation to our services, you may be eligible for assistance. Middle Flint Community Services operates a vehicle fleet to provide coordinated transportation services (CTS) and non-emergency transport (NET) services throughout our eight-county service area. Individual service sites have limited ability to provide you with transportation to their services. Non-route transportation assistance may also be provided through community support workers, and may include direct transportation, as well as identification of providers in your area.
- For daily transportation for day service site routes (e.g., Breezeway, New Beginnings, Developmental Disabilities service sites), please speak with the program staff. They can arrange transportation for you, either on a day service vehicle or through the central transportation office, as appropriate.
- For individual Medicaid-eligible trips to clinic sites and medical appointments, contact the Southwest Georgia Non-Emergency Transportation Office at: 1-866-443-0761.
- For assistance with other transportation needs, you may be eligible for linkages through our Community Support workers. Make your assigned staff person aware of your needs, and we will try to assist you.
Middle Flint’s CTS fleet also provides transportation to eligible Dept. of Family and Children’s Services and Council and Aging clients through a contract with the Department of Human Services.
