The name says it all.

Recently, Middle Flint Behavioral HealthCare changed its name, in order to create a public identity that better reflects its values:

  • Southern. Based in southwest Georgia, we strive to be the behavioral health/developmental disability provider of choice for this area.
  • Star. As our motto says, our light is “guiding a path to a better tomorrow.” We want to be a bright star on the horizon for individuals and families whose disability or coping problems may otherwise keep them in darkness.
  • Community. Our focus is on the whole community. Healthier communities mean healthier individuals and families. Our programs promote community partnerships and outreach.
  • Services. We are service-oriented. Our only purpose is to provide treatment, recovery, prevention, and educational services that address the needs of individuals, families and communities with current or potential problems with mental illness, addictive disease, or developmental disabilities.

Our Services Are:

Mission and vision-driven.

  • Our mission: To provide cost-effective, quality treatment, consultation, education and support services to people with addictive, emotional, behavioral, and/or developmental issues. Individual and family needs will be met through professional, confidential, and therapeutic collaboration.
  • Our vision: To create an organization that is recognized by our community as a quality investment, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals and families within our community, values employees, and is well managed and solvent.

Our Services Are:

  • Effective: Services must be of high quality and proven results in order to be beneficial. We maintain detailed Outcome Reports on all our client services. Service providers receive training in “best practices” to learn from the experts about what treatments are most helpful. And in order to ensure that we are providing effective services, we participate in CARF accreditation of our programs. Through a survey process, experts determine that our services meet national guidelines and offer helpful feedback about needed improvements.
